I was hired as the Executive Director in August 2009 and was honored to be the first non-lawyer to graduate from TLC with my classmates in the September class of ’09. I am a Wyoming native, born and raised in Cheyenne, with my own home in Jackson. I joined the TLC staff in June 2010. Like Laurie, I’m a Wyoming native. Four generations of my family have tended livestock on an 18,000-acre ranch in the Powder River Basin. I hold a B.A. from Colorado College, an M.S. from the University of Minnesota, and several years ago I completed pre-MBA coursework. I was born, raised and educated in Denver, Colorado. I’m one of four siblings, including a twin. I moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 1981 for the beauty and the love of outdoors. I worked for a few years at an outdoor educational school in Kelly, Wyoming, before working part-time for the Spence Law Firm in 1984.
