Judges Respond to the Grand Tetons Judicial College

An open letter to judges from Gerry Spence

Dear Judge,

You are invited to attend the Grand Teton Judicial College at Thunderhead Ranch near Dubois, Wyoming. Please join us as we embark on our fifth year of providing a unique environment in which judges can get together, sit back, and catch up with themselves in a protected setting; where you can let your hair down and reassess those worthy goals that attracted you to the bench in the first place. Too often, those goals have faded or have been warped in the grinding machinery of day to day schedules and activities.

What if every judge, when he or she went home every night, felt satisfied from their day's work--that justice had been done and that their day had been personally fulfilling? What if they were eager and excited to go to work every morning? This is the way we hope you will feel after joining us.

Judges from all levels of the state and federal judiciary have joined us here. We can provide you with a list of our past attendees and their telephone numbers so that if you wish you can call any of them to share their experiences at the Grand Teton Judicial College.

Life changing? For many, yes! Satisfying and fulfilling? For all of them, yes! This is more than a retreat. It provides an opportunity to explore new ways to self examine, to grow, to communicate and to develop a better way of fulfilling the potential that lies within each of us. And . . . there is a great trout stream running though the ranch!

We are truly indebted to our host, Gerry Spence and the Trial Lawyers College for providing us with an ideal venue in which to present our training and development program.

Where do you go from here? Simply return the Registration Form along with your deposit of $250.00. Once we receive your Registration Form, we will send you an acceptance package with additional information necessary for your trip.

If you have any questions, seek a scholarship or would like additional information, please contact our Executive Director, Joane Garcia-Colson at 760-322-3700, or via email at info@triallawyerscollege.com. We look forward to seeing you in September.

Peace,

Judge Jane Bond
